Dark amber colour, cloudy. Fine foam which fades rapidly. Strong smell of whiskey. Caramel, candi sugar. "Gourmande" and refined. / [re-rated 6 months later; significantly different assesment ] : Mahogany amber body headed by a creamy beige foam; light and with fine bubbles, fully lasting. Aroma and taste are malty, balanced by moderate hop; brioche, caramel, nuts, dried apricot, brown sugar, pecan pie; alcohol is sustained - too heavy for me as performing this tasting. Extremely rich, full, even syrupy, oily. Heady and attractive. But that’s too much for me for now - taste can vary !

Couleur ambre foncé, trouble. Mousse fine qui fond rapidement. Arômes puissants de whisky. Caramel, sucre candi. Gourmande et raffinée.

[appréciation revue 6 mois plus tard] : Corps acajou ambré surmonté d'une mousse beige crémeuse, légère, avec bulles fines, qui dure. Aromes et saveurs maltées, équilibrées par un houblon modéré; brioche, caramel, noix, abricot sec, sucre roux, tarte aux pécans; l'alcool est très présent - trop à mon sens lors de cette dégustation. Extrêment riche, pleine, et même syrupeuse, huileuse. Capiteuse et séduisante. Mais ça n'est plus vraiment ce que j'aime !
